Coorg Golf Links, Coorg
About Coorg Golf Links, Coorg
Coorg Golf Links was started in 1992 and was fast developed into a full fledged breathtaking 18 hole course amidst the beautiful valleys of the western ghats. The present back 9 was ready to play in 1998 and the subsequent front 9 was ready to play in 2000. Since then there has been regular progress in re-doing of the greens and fairways and also re-designing of some holes.
Front nine 3rd Hole, par 4 which required a really good straight tee shot on the left is all trees and on the write crazy out of bound waiting for the golf ball. Hole 5 which is short walk up is also golfers special hole as it is a short par 3, where you need max 9 iron to hit the green.
The best hole of the golf course – Signature hole of Coorg Golf Link can be 13th Hole, a high tee shot completely blind. The walk between the tee and the putting green you will have a lovely Bannana plantation, which belongs to a local farmer and not the property of the golf course. Really brilliant hole to play.
