Golfing in India dates back to 1829 when the first Golf Course, Royal Calcutta Golf Club, was established outside Great Britain, followed by Bombay, Bangalore and Shillong, but due to various reasons the game was not promoted in the country or was limited to very few. In the recent years with the advent of many private golf clubs coming up in various parts of the country and the Indian society gaining affluence, Golf has become a popular sport.

Currently India is home to a wider variety of golf experiences than any other golf destination in the world. Nowhere else can one play championship quality golf in sky-high mountains, colonial and historical golf courses which are located in the heart of a bustling cities. A golfing holiday in India promises an experience that one will never forget.

At Uday Tours & Travel we have a clear Mission & Vision :

Mission – To generate sustainable growth of golf tourism in India &
