Day 2 .Mumbai

Bombay Presidency Golf ClubMorning play golf at Bombay Presidency Golf Club: The eighteen-hole, par 70 course yardge 6223/5463, spread over an expanse of 90-acre, was founded in 1927 and was redesigned to international standards by the legendary five-time British Open champion Peter Thompson. Presidency’s fairways are narrow and tight, but its greens are undoubtedly the best in the country.

Afternoon half day city sightseeing tour of MUMBAI visiting gateway of India, Prince of wales museum (museum closed on Monday), fish aquarium, Jain temple, Hanging gardens on the slopes of malabar hills offering nice view of marine lines & Chowpatty beach, Kamla Nehru park, Mani bhawan (where Mahatma Gandhi used to stay) then to Dhobi ghat. Also drive past Afgan Church, Flora fountain (Bombay nerve centre), colourful crawford market and Marine drive.

Day 3. Mumbai / Bangalore

On time transfer to airport to connect flight to Bangalore.

Afternoon half day city sightseeing tour of BANGALORE 'Garden City' visiting the Lal Bagh which has a variety of old trees. Fountains, Lotus pools, Terraces and an assortment of tropical herbs and sub-tropical herbs. Also see the Government buildings and the Maharaja's Palace.

Day 4. Bangalore

KGA Golf Course bangaloreMorning round of golf at KGA (Karnataka Golf Association) The key to conquering the par-72, 6,945 yards Karnataka Golf Association ( KGA ) Golf Course is to possess a hot Putter. The course has been re-designed by the legendary Peter Thomson, also the man behind the New Course at St. Andrews. It is one of the few in India where you can watch the proceedings on the 1st and the 10th tee, as well as the 9th and 18th greens, from the magnificent clubhouse- an aspect considered to be classic in golf course designing. Afternoon free for independent activities.

Day 5. Bangalore/ Mysore (139 kms, 4 hrs)

Eagleton Golf Course BangaloreMorning leave by surface for Mysore enroute playing a game of golf at Eagleton Golf Resort The Pacific Coast Designs Group from Australia has designed the Eagleton Golf Village. It is a few kilometers away from the city, but once you are there, it is a self-sufficient golfing oasis. From the championship tees, it measures 6,632 yards and is a par-72 course. The Eagleton is one of the latest courses in south India – it was inaugurated in 1999- and is in excellent condition. The fairways are undulating and the greens are large. The course has an excellent irrigation and drainage system.

Later proceed to Mysore enroute visiting Srirangapatnam 16 kms from Mysore. This fort was the stronghold of Tippu Sultan, son of Hyder Ali. Tippu made a last minute ditch Against the British in 1799 before surrendering his kingdom. Among the many fort buildings still intact, are Tippu’s Airy summer palace and his tomb at the Darya Daulat Bagh (garden). Here is also the celerated Sri Ranganatha Temple.

On arrival check into hotel.

Evening visit BRINDAVAN GARDEN one of the best and most beautiful garden in India.

DAy 6.Mysore / Ooty (158 kms, 4 hrs)

Mysore PalaceMorning half day city sightseeing tour of MYSORE visiting the palace of Maharaja built in 1911-12. The piece of harmonious synthesis of the hindu and saracenic styles of architecture with archways, domes turrets, colonnades and sculptures which are magnificent. Visit the Art gallery drive up to Chamundi hill to see the Chamundeshwari temple and a panoramic view of Mysore. Also visit the Nandi Bull.

Later leave by surface for Ooty. On arrival check into Hotel.

Day 7. Ooty

Ooty Golf ClubMorning play golf at Ooty Golf Club Par 70, 6074/5125 yards, is a challenging course and is the only one to possess the mported Scottish grass called gorse. It is a thickly wooded course and has several eucalyptus, oak, rhododendron and fir trees. The course, built at an altitude of 7,600 feet, has several blind holes, where you cannot see the greens. Guide posts fixed on the intervening ridges give the player the necessary directions. The most grueling hole on this course is the fifth, all uphill and a good 200 feet higher. But the green is rewarding, with a breathtaking view across the hill ranges. The Ooty Golf Club fairways are lush but tight, and the greens are large and well maintained.

Afternoon free to explore the areas in and around Ooty.

Day 8. Ooty / Coimbatore / (88 kms, 2 hrs) Chennai

Morning leave by surface for Coimbatore. On arrival transfer to airport to connect flight to Chennai.

Day 9. Chennai

Marina BeachMorning play golf. At TNGF-Cosmo Golf Courses: designed by Peter thomson an inaugurated by the Governor General of India, the Honourable Marquees of Linlithgow on 15th Jan 1938, TNGF is an interesting and challenging course situated in the heart of Chennai City. The third hole runs parallel to Mount Road. You need to hit your tee shots over a nallah ( water canal) on the 17th and the 8th holes. There are several moundings and well placed bunkers which add to the degree of difficulty on this course. The course plays to par 72 and measures 6,859 yards.

Afternoon half day city sightseeing tour of CHENNAI visiting the national museum, drive thru old Madras passing thru some important buildings built by the British, visit St. Marys church inside the fort St. George, drive thru marina beach. Later visit Saint Thomas Cathedral & Kapaleeswarar Temple.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10.

Lv. Chennai On time transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
