SOUTH INDIA GOLF TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1:
Arr. Bangalore.
Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to
hotel.Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2: Bangalore
Morning play golf at BANGALORE GOLF CLUB OR KARNATAKA GOLF
ASSOCIATION.
BANGALORE GOLF CLUB founded on June 24, 1876, redesigned by
Peter Thomson, Bangalore Golf Course is the second oldest golf
course in India. The par 71,6650 yards, the eighteen-hole
course started with browns, which were later converted to
greens. The scarcity of water in the area is a major
constraint and the course has very few water hazards. Besides
trees and deep ditches, the major hazard on the course is the
Bangalore crow that often picks up the ball, mistaking it for
an egg. It is therefore, not surprising that the logo of the
Bangalore Golf Club depicts a Crow with a ball in its beak.
Afternoon half day city sightseeing tour of BANGALORE 'Garden
City' visiting the Lal Bagh which has a variety of old trees.
Fountains, Lotus pools, Terraces and an assortment of tropical
herbs and sub-tropical herbs. Also see the Government
buildings and the Maharaja's Palace.
Evening Dinner at “Indian Restaurant.”
Over Night at the hotel.
DAY 3: Bangalore / Eagleton Golf Resort (40 kms, 1 hr) /
Mysore (100 kms, 3 hrs)
Morning leave by surface for Mysore enroute playing a game of
golf at Eagleton Golf Resort. Eagleton Golf Resort which is
18-hole 72 par and 6632 yards long course. The international
standard Golf Course is designed by reputed golf architects
from Australia(M/s Pacific coast design Pvt.Ltd., credited
with designing more than 150 championship golf courses around
the world). The course conforms to USPGA standards. Its
advanced computerized Satellite sensor irrigation system (Rain
bird inc., USA), 40 kms drainage network nderneath the course
and imported turf maintenance equipment (Toro inc., USA) makes
it a year round course. The centrally air-conditioned
clubhouse measuring about 2,25,000 sq ft is the biggest of its
kind in South East Asia and offers leisure and business
facilities of a very high standard.
Later leave by surface for Mysore. On arrival check into
Hotel.
Evening visit BRINDAVAN GARDEN one of the best and most
beautiful garden in India.
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4: Mysore / Ooty (158 kms, 4 hrs)
Morning leave by surface for Ooty.
Morning half day city sightseeing tour of MYSORE visiting the
palace of Maharaja built in 1911-12. The piece of harmonious
synthesis of the hindu and saracenic styles of architecture
with archyways, domes turrets, colonnades and sculptures which
are magnificient. Visit the Art gallery drive upto Chamundi
hill to see the Chamundeshwari temple and a panaromic view of
Mysore. Also visit the Nandi Bull.
Later leave by surface for Ooty. On arrival check into hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5: Ooty
Morning play golf at OOTY GOLF COURSE.unity to understand
their local art, culture and their way of life. In simple
words, “A Rendezvous with The Rural Bengal”.Overnight at the
hotel.
OOTY GOLF COURSE follows the soft contours of downland, with
its tonsured effect of tree-bare heights, ringed with gorse
and thickly wooded copses of eucalyptus, oak, rhododendron and
fir in the hollows. The course is surrounded by the thickly
wooded Avalanch Range. The altitude of 7,600 feet, a few
degrees above the equator, provides a combination of light and
thin air which is a near intoxicant, and the ball travels much
further than it would in the plains because of the rarefied
atmosphere. The Ooty golf course is not only scenic but also
quite trying, and it would be wise for the visitor to play
only nine of the 18 holes on the first day.

DAY 6: Ooty / Coimbatore/ (88 kms, 2 hrs) Hyderabad
On time transfer to Railway station to connect train to
Jamshedpur (Tata Nagar)
Dep: Coimbatore By: IT 4868 At: 18:50 hrs.
Arr: Hyderabad At: 20:40 hrs.

DAY 7: Hyderabad
Morning play golf at Boulders Hills
BOULDER HILLS GOLF CLUB - Boulder Hills 72 par measures 7400
yards Championship Tee and 6700 yards Regular Tee is designed
by Peter Harradine, is blessed by Mother Nature. Huge rocks
and majestic boulders provide natural coulisses, back drops
and hazards. The course meanders through spectacular scenery.
Ten of the eighteen holes have elevated tees and the Par
threes are designed in such a way that players see all of the
hole in front of them. Large expanse of greens maximise pin
positions and add visual appeal. Truly wow-class. Truly
inspiring.
Half Day sightseeing tour of the city visiting the Charminar
Saturday rectangular four arched monumental gate often
described as the "the arch of triumph of the east", the Mecca
Mosque and visit the Salar Jung Museum – one man collection of
manuscripts, ancient weapons, costumes and curios. Later drive
past the high court buildings.
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 8: Hyderabad
Leave Hyderabad
On time transfer to airport.
